We have compiled a list of common questions and answers that customers ask before they join our service. We hope these will help answer some of your questions.

Reliability
  • Does the connection work at all hours of the day?
    Yes, you can connect any time any day.
     
  • Are there peak time overloads?
    Normally the Internet gets busy between 5pm-10pm EST. But we do not limit usage or have any problems with our users getting or staying online
     
  • Does the connection support the speeds/types of hardware/software you want to use?
    Our dialup numbers support v.90 and v.92 in most areas.

Technical Support and Troubleshooting

  • Is support part of normal service or an added cost?
    Yes, you get unlimited support via email or telephone.
     
  • What are the hours of coverage for network operations?
    Our network is monitored 24x7.
     
  • Is telephone support available via a local call, 800 number, or long distance?
    Yes, telephone support is available via our toll free number (800) 775-3928.
     
  • Is there technical help available via e-mail?
    Yes, you can contact support by emailing service@tmcsmail.com
     
  • Is there help and/or manuals available online?
    We have an extensive collection of online documentation in the support section of our website.
     

Business Arrangements and References

  • Are free trial connections available?
    Because we offer this service at such a cheap price we are unable to offer free trial accounts.
     
  • What local and 800 phone numbers are available for you to use?
    We have over 8,000 local access numbers across the United States. We currently do not provide dialup service via a toll free number.
     
  • Can multiple users access the same billing account simultaneously?
    We only allow customers to be dialed up once per username.
     
  • Can multiple user IDs/mailboxes use the same billing account?
    Yes, you can have multiple usernames setup under one account.
     
  • Are there surcharges for any types of connections or particular hours of the day?
    No, you pay $10.00 per month and connect whenever you would like.
     
  • What kind of contract or services agreement is required?
    Most customers signup month to month. We recommend this until you are satisfied with our service then you can upgrade and prepay for 6 or 12 months.
     
  • What options are available for billing and payments? Discounts for pre-payments?
    Customers who wish to pay 6 or 12 months still only pay the low fee of $10 p/mo.
     
  • After placing an order, how long does it take to make the connection active?
